New Build

Location: Fort Collins CO

"We could not be happier, you captured the spirit of Wyoming beautifully–warm, inviting, and perfectly balanced with modern comfort. The home feels both luxurious and completely at ease in tis surroundings. Every detail feels intentional yet effortless. It is as if the house was always meant to look this way. You have created a space that feels like a retreat while still being a true home–comfortable, stuning, and so uniquely Wyoming. And along the way, you became a true friend!!!"

This stunning log home was such a wonderful opportunity to show how good design has the opportunity to be expressive and not be predictive. Our clients wanted to speak to this new Wyoming experience but not lose a unique and modern direction. We did not ignore the natural bend of blending rustic warmth and modern comfort while celebrating the natural materials. However, we wanted the story to be told with a bold style. From the rich wood beams and stone accents to the buttery leather sofas and plush textiles, every detail was chosen to create a space that feels both luxurious and inviting.

The interior design of this home centers around texture, balance, and connection to the surrounding landscape. Warm wood tones and handcrafted finishes highlight the home’s architectural character, while modern furniture and layered patterns bring a fresh, contemporary edge. The deep green accent chairs and striped ottoman add color and personality, grounding the open-concept space with a refined yet relaxed feel.

Our clients were an absolute pleasure to work with — the kind of collaboration every interior designer hopes for. This modern log home was our first project together, and through the process, a wonderful relationship grew, built on trust, creativity, and a shared vision. That connection later led to another rewarding interior design project: their beautiful home in Indiana, where we continued to build on their signature style and love for warm, livable design.

This project beautifully demonstrates how great interior design can capture the essence of a specific environment while maintaining comfort and functionality. However, it’s true reflection is of our client’s vision to bring in their love of modern and tell their story. We loved the collaboration with DeerWood Log Homes and their amazing craftsmanship. And of course the lasting relationships that make interior design so meaningful to us.
