This project was to bring to life the perfect forever home for long time clients and friends. It was our 4th project we have worked on together. Our clients both grew up on farms in the mid-west and so for them, the term “farmhouse” had deep roots and real meaning.

We selected wood finishes and tiles that were reminiscent but also current and fresh. Stone on the fireplace that was timeless. We were also able to use many of the quality pieces of furniture from past projects because we chose them specifically for them. Even though they were originally selected for a home style and environment very different than this one, they easily transitioned because it was about the client and not a trend.

The result was truly a wonderful farmhouse that feels like home for them, their family and all that come for visits. It is a home that makes you want to “sit and stay a while”. This project stands as a beautiful reminder that great interior design isn’t just about how a home looks — it’s about how it feels to live there.
