"We have completed two major design renovations, in two homes in the last 3 years with Cherilee / Elegant Pear. Our experience has been incredibly professional, creative, collaborative, and personally rewarding. Project Details

The stunning setting of this home had gotten lost in the original design of poorly placed windows and a huge stone fireplace in the middle that blocked the outside completely from the kitchen.

One of our first design decisions was to remove the fireplace and put it where it would be enjoyed but not try to be louder than the mountain views. This home was all about a large family and lots of guests. We needed to address plenty of areas to sit together as well as smaller intimate areas like the beautiful banquet. The kitchen was redesigned taking some unused space and making it more functional and capitalizing on the home’s architecture. Designing the custom range hood from RawUrth not only fit like a glove physically in its place, but in this homes design as well.

The lighting was selected to be unique and artful. We selected tiles that extended the emotion of each room, telling the story of our clients, the homes architecture as well as it’s setting. We selected fabrics and finishes that were fresh and not expected and created a home that had a retreat experience as well as the comfort you long for after a day on the slopes. Our end result was a beautiful 2nd home that is used year round and enjoyed by our clients and their friends and family. As always, we loved working with our clients and it was pure delight as we watched each piece be installed and bring to life the vision we had from the very beginning.
